Taylor Swift joined the Haim sisters onstage for a couple of songs during their concert at London’s O2 Arena as part of the One More Haim Tour last Thursday (July 21).
Swift, wearing the custom Louis Vuitton leather pants and black crop top that the three sisters have been sporting throughout their ongoing tour, joined them for a mashup of her Fearless song “Love Story” and Haim’s Women in Music Pt. III track “Gasoline.”
The updated Gasoline version featured Swift on harmonies in the chorus, plus taking the reins on the sassy second verse. “You did me bad / And I did it back / You needed a-, well, what’s / Wrong with that?” she sings.
Swift said that their idea to collaborate during the concert was part of a master plan to get the crowd “to sing the loudest you have sung all night.”
She added, “Which is a big challenge because you have been singing very loudly-extraordinary work.”
Swift, who noted that it’s been a while since she has performed in concert, said, “It’s nice.it’s nice, it’s very nice [to be back]. When I heard my girls were playing in London at the O2, I thought, ‘I’m going to have to see that.’ And it looks like there’s about 20,000 other people who also thought that.”
Ahead of her performance with the Haim sisters, Swift shared a hilarious video to her TikTok page, in which she’s seen sneakily copying Haim’s onstage outfits.
“Hitting copypaste on your friends’ looks like,” she captioned the video, which is soundtracked by Children’s Song Factory‘s “Copycat.”
