Eric Church Named Country Music Hall Of Fame’s 18th Artist-In-Residence

Eric Church has been named the Country Music Hall Of Fame‘s 18th Artist-In-Residence.

Church will perform two exclusive shows at the Hall of Fame and Museum’s CMA Theater on August 29 and 30.

Responding to being named the 2023 Artist-in-Residence, Church said, “As a student of the rich history of country’s most prolific artists, the Country Music Hall of Fame is a shrine of reverence for this songwriter’s heart. I’m honored and humbled to be in such esteemed company.”

Established in 2003, the museum’s artist-in-residence program honors a musical master who can be credited with contributing a large and significant body of work to the canon of American popular music.

The artist-in-residence is invited to use the Museum’s CMA Theater to create unique musical experiences. Proceeds from the events will be contributed to the Museum’s educational mission.

In addition, a special exhibit at the Museum dedicated to the country music veteran’s life and career, titled “Eric Church: Country Heart, Restless Soul,” will open on July 13. The exhibit, open to the public, will run up to June 2024.

Tickets for the CMA Theater shows go on sale to the general public at 10 AM CT on Friday.
