Country music legend Dolly Parton celebrated her 78th birthday last Friday (January 19) by releasing a deluxe edition of Rockstar.
“Hey fans and friends, It’s my birthday so I’m going to give you a present!” Parton wrote on Instagram. “Surprise! Stream ‘Rockstar Deluxe’ wherever you get your music.”
“I’m releasing four never released songs for my birthday, to go with the Rockstar album, and a few others that you may have heard before that were not on the album. I hope you enjoy them, and I hope you all have a happy birthday for me! LOL,” she continued, and concluded her message, writing, “Thanks for everything, Dolly.”
The deluxe version has 39 songs in all, including nine new tracks – five previously exclusive retailer tracks and four which have never been released.
