Chris Janson recently released a cover of the fun and timeless track, “Holiday Road,” via BMLG Records/Harpeth 60.
The toe-tapping song, written by the legendary Lindsey Buckingham, was produced by Janson and Julian Raymond.
“Holiday Road” holds cherished memories for so many, including Janson, who not only brings his signature vibrancy to the vocals but also shows off his skill as a drummer on the classic.
“I’ve always loved Christmas Vacation, the movie, and this song reminds me of that,” Janson explains. “I hopped in to play drums on this track, and I hope everyone loves it!”
Fans can check out Janson’s live performance of “Holiday Road” during the upcoming Christmas at the Opry special airing on NBC on December 7. The special will be available to stream via Peacock the following day.
Last week, Janson appeared on “Live! with Kelly & Mark,” where he performed his current radio single, “All I Need Is You,” off his latest album, The Outlaw Side of Me, and discussed his upcoming holiday plans and 2024 tour.
