Dierks Bentley recently announced his highly-awaited tenth studio album Gravel & Gold will be released on February 24.

It is the best country music he ever made, according to Bentley.

In a teaser video for the project that he posted on social media, the country music icon spoke about his musical career and the making of his latest album: “It’s been a long road. A 20-year journey filled with highs and lows, twists and turns. My love for country music: That’s what’s always kept me going, town to town, show to show, small clubs to packed arenas. I worked hard. I took chances, went for things. The journey isn’t where I’ve been, it’s what I carry with me, into my 10th album.”

Bentley said he wrote and recorded songs for the project twice before throwing it out thinking that they were not “good enough”.

The video features a montage of Bentley’s performances handpicked from his two-decades-long career.
